Once all your glasses have been collected, the Comeback brand of reconditioned eyewear takes them back and resells them at a lower cost.
This brand markets second-hand frames, making the product even more accessible and creating a circular economy. Recycling also helps to reduce the carbon footprint of eyewear.
Recovered eyewear is sorted and rigorously inspected to ensure its conformity.
In 2022, nearly 3,000 frames were recovered, with 350 frames reconditioned. The rest of the frames that could not be reconditioned are dismantled to recover the material, which is then recycled.
Working with La Barbe de Papa hairdressers and barbers enables us to broaden our field of action thanks to their national network. We already have collection points at opticians, so putting them at La Barbe de Papa will multiply the number of collection points for the Comeback.
